Directions

The Maritime & Yachting Museum of Florida, Inc. is located at 3250 S.W. Kanner Highway in Stuart, Florida. We're approximately 40 miles north of West Palm Beach on Florida's Atlantic coast, on the South Fork of the St. Lucie River.

From I-95: Take Exit 61 and drive east toward Stuart on Kanner Highway (State Route 76) for 4.2 miles. The museum will be on your left.

From US Highway 1 (Southeast Federal Highway) in Stuart: Take State Route 76 (Kanner Highway) south, cross Monterey Road, and continue for 0.7 miles just past Martin County High School. The museum will be on your right.

As a maritime museum, we have the essential task of serving the public through the preservation, presentation and protection of our irreplaceable nautical heritage.

There's something for everyone at the museum! Our collection includes:

- ship models
- maritime paintings and photos
- navigator's instruments
- marine engines
- traditional boatbuilding tools
- an extensive maritime library
- and, of course, a growing fleet of antique wooden boats
