Enjoying a Century Seamaid, Summer of 1941

Caretaker is constructed of African mahogany planking with blonde abigora wood decking, white oak keel, stringer and ribs, and bronze screw fasteners. She still has her original 1948 Gray Marine Fireball flathead 160 Race Engine, which could power her at speeds up to 43 mph. Her dash instruments include late 1940's Chrysler products, a late 1940's Cadillac steering wheel, a mechanical tachometer with an hour meter, and a hand pump horn.
